Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 9 May 2026 (2026-05-09). This policy applies to every user and workspace on Cloud Billing. It supplements our Terms of service.
1. Lawful use
You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including sanctions, export controls, anti-bribery, privacy, and sector-specific rules. You may not use the Service where we do not offer it if doing so would violate local law.
2. Prohibited content and activity
You must not use the Service to:
- store, process, or distribute malware, exploits, or illegal material;
- send unsolicited bulk email or SMS, or operate phishing, smishing, or other deceptive collection of credentials;
- harass, threaten, incite violence, or discriminate unlawfully toward individuals or groups;
- misrepresent identity, forge headers, or impersonate others (except clearly labelled demos with consent);
- attempt to break, bypass, or probe tenant isolation, access other customers’ data, or circumvent billing or usage limits;
- conduct aggressive automated scraping or denial-of-service against the Service or third parties through our infrastructure;
- mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies, or operate unfair “free tier” abuse that materially degrades the platform for others;
- process special-category personal data (health, biometrics, etc.) without lawful basis and appropriate safeguards agreed with us where required.
3. API and integration use
You will use API keys and webhooks responsibly, rotate credentials that leak, and rate-limit your own clients. You may not resell raw API access or use our endpoints to provide a competing service that substitutes for Cloud Billing without written agreement.
4. Security and reporting
Follow our Security page for vulnerability disclosure. Do not publicly disclose unfixed issues without coordination. Protect endpoints that you expose (e.g. custom domains) and notify us if you suspect compromise of your workspace.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, filter spam or abuse signals, and cooperate with law enforcement when required. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or apply technical limits. Where reasonable, we will give notice before suspension for non-security breaches and allow time to cure except where delay would cause harm or is prohibited by law.
6. Contact
Report abuse: Contact with subject “Abuse”. Related documents: Legal centre.
